First aid

About the course

When an accident occurs, you should be the first on the scene or together with colleagues to be able to perform basic first aid that ensures that the person is still alive when the Ambulance arrives and the Paramedics can take over. We review the most important life functions, life-saving first aid and procedures that can achieve the goal. Well, when accidents happen at work or in private life, they are often serious accidents with catastrophic consequences if proper first aid cannot be provided. Based on the experience with these accidents, the course is built around the injuries you see most often in the industry and we do practical exercises that reflect these scenarios.

IWAL is a member of FSFI, the Association of Independent First Aid Instructors and approved by the Danish First Aid Council, the Danish Emergency Management Agency and GWO for training in fire fighting, first aid and resuscitation with a defibrillator.

IWAL runs a large number of different types of first aid courses, all of which are divided into modules, so that it is possible to combine several courses for a comprehensive first aid training.

IWAL conducts first aid courses in accordance with the content prescribed by the Danish First Aid Council and GWO and also offers a number of more situation-specific first aid courses.

At IWAL, you can therefore get a competence-providing first aid course that is also tailored to your company.
